About The Author

At just 13 years old, Joel A. Greenberg got his start in the entertainment industry as a mobile DJ, and eventually, while in college, worked his way to an on-air weekend position at Boston’s Rock 93.7 WCGY, and a behind the scenes position with 94.5 WZOU, which later became JAM’N. 94.5.

As part of a station event, he opened a live show, controlling the sound equipment for The New Kids On The Block in the late 80s. After taking the advice of Tom McIntyre (Joey’s dad) he then tripled his mobile DJ business all over Boston and took it to a whole new level of entertainment.

In the early 90s, Joel began hosting celebrity parties with WWE wrestlers and with numerous young TV and movie talents as his guest stars, live in the local venues. School children from around the area attended the events, allowing them to meet and “party with the stars” — every event sold out almost instantly. The relationships Joel built with these young stars he worked with expanded his interests and was ultimately what got him into filmmaking.
Jomar Motion Pictures produced quality, entertaining, and commercially successful independent film. Joel began the company by teaching acting to children and teens, and incorporating them into scripts that he had created for the students. He has gone on to produce on larger budget movies, and with his friends who head the Los Angeles based company, Rokitpig.

With a degree in mass communications from Boston’s Emerson College, Joel has extensive knowledge of the industry and a network of professionals at his fingertips.
His commitment to high quality content and story telling excellence ensures that his films resonate with audiences and generate returns.

With over three decades in entertainment, Joel now specializes in producing, and turning films into products for domestic and international distribution. His projects, and those he involves himself in, continue to expand in the world market.
